Honda Element starts at $20,845

The restyled 2009 Honda Element goes on sale Wednesday with a starting sticker price of $20,845, including shipping.
A four-wheel-drive version starts at $22,045, and a top-shelf Element, the EX model with four-wheel drive and a nav system, starts at $25,855. All prices include a $670 shipping charge.
The small ute gets a new grille and bumper design, restyled front fenders--now made of metal in contrast to the previous composite material--a fresh hood design, squared wheel arches and new lights.
The 2.4-liter four-cylinder powerplant can be paired with five-speed manual or automatic transmissions.
Inside, there are new color schemes, fabrics and a revised switchgear design.
The Element is assembled at Honda's East Liberty plant in Ohio.
